The sound files posted here are available in two formats: Wav (8 bit, Mono-large but most cross-platform friendly)
and MP3 (16 bit, Stereo-small, portable, becoming the new standard). In order to hear them you must have an appropriate
audio player program installed on your computer. Windows 95/98 can play Wav files through it's integral Microsoft MediaPlayer, whereas MP3s need an additional player, such as WinAMP. Other platforms have similar players available too (even the trusty ol' Amiga!). To download a complete version of WinAMP, click on the icon below:

Once you have the correct audio player installed on your computer, select any of the appropriate files below, sit back and enjoy!!
(BTW: Winamp is freeware, VERY flexible and plays Wav files too, so why not have it anyway??)

A great little device I've discovered is the HandspringŪ VisorŪ Personal Digital Assistant(PDA). Not only can it be an electronic memo pad, calculator and events calendar, it can also be converted into a voice recorder, a digital camera or an MP3 player!! Made by the originators of the Palm PilotŪ, they've taken the technology and made it better than ever. Imagine holding your cylinder database in the pocket of your shirt for those numerous swap meets we go to...complete with sound clips of alternate takes!!
